René Sommer is Editor in Chief for Pointer, the investigative platform of the Dutch public broadcaster KRO-NCRV. Pointer publishes on television, radio and online. Pointer specializes in Open Source Intelligence and data-analyses. It has won the Sigma Award for best international data journalism three years in a row. Pointer has had international collaborations with Der Spiegel, Le Monde, Sky News, VRT, Knack, Bellingcat, Forensic Architecture and Danske Radio among others.
