Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

Any data-driven story needs statistical knowledge to interrogate and interpret the data properly. But the lack of numeracy in newsrooms leads to poor analyses and it is also a detriment to the development of more robust and innovative models in which base our stories. In this session, we’ll talk about what data journalists need to consider when working with numbers and we’ll go through a list of descriptive and inferential methods useful for journalistic stories.
