How to apply for work grants - meet the right funder

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

A mere ten years ago, very few work grants for journalists and journalism projects were available. Today grants for journalistic research, for journalism entrepreneurs, for cross-border journalism on European and on global level are available as well as work grants by topic to stimulate crossborder collaboration among journalists with specialisations or micro-grants supporting particular tasks such as the protection of sources and whistleblowers. But how to find the right work grant? Meet here representatives from EJC, Journalismfund.eu, Hostwriter.org, Netzwerk Recherche, ECPMF, N-Ost, GRIDA and Whistleblowingfund.org. The Global Investigative Journalism Network maintains an updated list of such grants.
