Coders and journalists get together to find and clean data. Health & Medicines Data Challenge: There is a lot to look into when it comes to medicines and pharmaceutical industry: money to doctors, public spending on medicines, medical journals, ... Experts on the topic Hristio Boytchev and Ángela Bernardo Álvarez will help you find stories in the data for your own country. Interested? Join us on Dataharvest Arena!
Housing Data Challenge: Home, sweet home… Or rather these days: home, sweet expensive and unaffordable home! All over Europe, the contexts and reasons are different but the outcome is the same: access to decent and affordable housing is becoming increasingly difficult except for the wealthiest. We will dive into rental and property prices, big landlords, evictions, Airbnb and tourist apartment, social housing, empty homes, homelessness and other issues regarding housing; and also into data that relates to housing (like income and health indicators).
Do you have already a story idea? Do you know of a particular data source you want to share? Would you like to team up with other people to then work together during HackDay? Please tell us about it on Dataharvest Arena
