I am a freelance journalist based in Bologna, Italy, since September 2018. I write features for web magazines Internazionale, Osservatorio Diritti and Q Code Magazine, covering social and environmental issues and human rights violations.
Between 2016 and 2017 I lived in South America, travelling around Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, Bolivia and Chile. Among other things I worked as a fixer for the Italian TV Rai 3, programme “Indovina chi viene a cena”. Then I studied journalism in London, where I learned multimedia skills such as video making, news photography and web writing.
Since 2012 I have been working for the street newspaper Piazza Grande and for the English street magazine The Pavement. I also wrote the book The economic model of street papers (Ebook Editore, 2016).
I contributed to media like The Guardian, FQ Millennium, Il Manifesto Bologna, Redattore Sociale, Lettera43 and in 2017 I won the Meglio di un romanzo Award, part of the Festivaletteratura of Mantova.
